The Sharehouse Mobile Outreach Support team offers support to young people who are currently homeless or having issues where they are currently staying. The type of support will depend on your individual circumstances and needs.

If you are currently homeless or need to find somewhere else to live, our team can help you:

  • Find somewhere to stay short-term
  • Secure long-term accommodation
  • Apply for Centrelink
  • Apply for private, public and community Housing
  • Increase your basic living skills including budgeting and financial management
  • Access other services such as mental health and well-being, training, employment, alcoholand other drug services and rehabilitation.
  • Advocate on your behalf and provide general practical assistance.

If you are currently renting a property or living with other people, and are at risk of losing your accommodation, the team can help you keep your current place by:

  • Communicating with real estate agents and landlords
  • Advocating on your behalf
  • Teaching you independent living skills such as budgeting, maintaining a house, etc
  • Mediating basic household disagreements around chores, bills etc with your current housemates.
  • Connecting you to other services that may be able to help and support you.
