Our Street Reach team offers support to young people who are currently homeless or having issues where they are currently staying. The type of support will depend on your individual circumstances and needs.

How can Street Reach help?

If you are currently experiencing or at risk of homelessness, Street Reach can support you to:

  • Apply for housing or find short term stays
  • Engage with Services Australia/Centrelink
  • Access other services to help with mental health, wellbeing, training or employment by referrals.

If you are currently housed (renting or living with other people), but at risk of losing your accommodation, the team can help you keep your current place by:

  • Advocating on your behalf – communicating with housing providers, real estate agents and landlords
  • Teaching you independent living skills such as budgeting, maintaining a house, etc
  • Mediating basic household disagreements around chores, bills etc with your current housemates.
  • Connecting you to other services that may be able to help and support you.
