Information for Real Estates

Sharehouse Youth Programs Inc works with young people (16-25) who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

While residing in our accommodation, clients are:

  • Assisted to increase their independent living skills
  • Taught general tenancy skills
  • Supported to secure an income (either through employment or Centrelink)
  • Assisted to apply for a private rental
  • Exposed to routine real estate processes eg. House inspections
  • Charged rent and can provide a rental history.

How we can help you and your tenants.

Sharehouse Youth Programs Inc can help you and your younger clients (16 – 25 years) who are struggling to maintain their property and tenancy through our Mobile Outreach Support Service.

  • Through Outreach we can help your clients
  • Communicate effectively
  • Increase their tenancy and independent living skills such as cleaning / maintaining a property and budgeting
  • Meet their Centrelink requirements to ensure they continue to receive an income
  • Prepare for house and property inspections
  • Access other support services as needed.
